a new beginning

Well, here it goes. My first official blog. In fact, this is my first real posting of anything on the web for...well, we'll just leave it at a really long time. In fact, I think it was before getting married.

Life has been a bit of a roller coaster in the past two years or so. Okay, perhaps that is a bit of an understatement.

Graduated from college. No job, largely due to location considerations. Worked odd jobs. Found project management job at a young homebuilding company. Got married shortly thereafter. Long hours and stress. Low sales rate. Job eliminated. Investigated starting business. Worked hard on business plan, etc. Location taken by optometrist and no other suitable location found. Investigated purchasing existing business. No returned phone calls. Now looking for a job and likely a move.

Not exactly the story I would have expected two years ago, but the one that I got, nonetheless. Not sure where to go from here, but fighting to stay motivated to figure it out.

A new beginning. I just don’t know what it is yet.
